Rolling ECB & Register Rewards

This week looks very slow at CVS & Walgreens. But its a holiday weekend, and things may change by Thursday or Friday. I had $6 in register rewards from Walgreens that expire today, so I tried to put them to good use. Plus I needed to get my 2 newspapers and we were in need of paper towels, so I went to CVS to pick up those.

I spent $6.73 out of pocket total, and received $5 RR from Walgreens and $2 ECB from CVS.

Walgreens:

(1) Roots of Nature Moisturizing Lotion: $6.99 (used $1 mc from Soft Sheen Carson website )

(2) Orajel toddler toothpaste: $3.79 BOGO free (no coupons, but a great price!)

Total: $10.78

9 cent salsa @ Target!

I posted a few days ago about the great grocery deals Target has had over the past couple of months. They keep getting better! This week, Pace Specialty salsa is on sale for $2.09. There are also $2 mc's for these, which make them 9 cents each!

I paid $9.61 for the above items and received a $5 Target gift card for my next purchase!

Here's my transaction:

75% off Alavert & Benadryl @ CVS

Check out your local CVS stores. I found Alavert & Benadryl for 75 % off. There were other medications that were on clearance for 75% off too. Great way to stock up for next season and the expiration dates were not until 8/2010-2012. After coupons, I paid $3.60 for all 5.

This week CVS has a $10 ECB deal when you buy 2 pairs of sunglasses. Well, I found out from one of my favorite bargain boards, http://www.moneysavingmom.com/ that the eye care accessories also work for this deal. So I purchased 2 Sun Covers cleaning tissues which are 99 cents each and the $10 ECB printed!

The UPC code is 030048471289. They were located at the bottom of the stand (under the sunglasses). Its been reported that they have also been located near the pharmacy & the eye care isle in many CVS stores.

Here's the scenario:

If you're like us, cereal in our house is not only for breakfast but little light snacks for our kids. That's why I was so happy to see the great deal on cereal & milk at Target this week so I could stock up. Plus, I took advantage of the Oscar Mayer deal too. There were a couple of more deals advertised in their ad yesterday that are worth checking out, especially if you have good coupons for the items.

The deals at Target this week have been great! I've been to Target 3 times this week to stock up. (see my last 2 posts about the Ziploc bags & Glade candles) I got the above items for $5.22 after all of my coupons were deducted.

Target recently released new printable coupons on their website. One of those coupons is a $1 off Ziplock bags. This week Target has them on sale for $2.49. When you use 2 $1 printables plus the BOGO free Ziploc bag manufacture coupon, they are 24 cents each! Also, I found Dove deodorant bonus packs with body mist on clearance for $1.48. I used $1.25 mc from this past Sunday's insert and got them for 23 cents each.

Fill-A-Bag GYMBOREE sale

I absolutely love GYMBOREE clothes for my kids! (well, for my son...now that my dear daughter has gotten older she's not a big fan anymore!) I love the quality and they always seem to have different themes that my kids like. They currently have a soccer theme for boys out right now and I think I've gotten every shirt in this line because that's all my little boy wants to wear these days.

Today, GYMBOREE is have an outstanding SALE! Its called Fill-A-Bag (they give you a bag at the door to fill, but you don't have to purchase the bag if you don't want to.) The sale is also on their website www.gymboree.com.

EVERYTHING is 30% off...including sale items. In addition there are 20% coupons out that can be used in conjunction with this sale. I found my coupon in the June/July issue of Family Fun magazine. Also, I received a 30% coupon in the mail a few weeks ago for full-priced merchandise only. I was able to use the 30% coupon too with this sale, but it had to be for items that were not marked down. I just had to do 2 separate transactions to use both of my coupons.

Many of the items I bought today were very inexpensive.

Here are a few of the prices after I used my 20% coupon:

What a way to end the month!

I've only been blogging for 2 months now and I can truly say that blogging has become a new found passion of mine and I absolutely love sharing all of my great deals.

For us, May has been a great month to stock up for the summer. I've gotten free BBQ sauce, .4 cent boxes of snacks @ Target, .25 cent canisters of lemonade and free cans of tomato sauce just to name a few... and today, FREE Propel Water! My pantry is packed and overflowing...and I love it!

After having dinner with my family tonight, we headed over Kroger so I could finish out a few of this week's deals. The customer behind me in the check-out line even made a comment on how impressed he was with my final total!

But, after looking at the ads last night, I got my coupons together this morning to try and take advantage of some the great deals. Walgreens $5 off $25 coupon

After clipping my coupons last night, I realized that I had a few more coupons for great match-ups to this week's sale at Kroger. I made a quick trip today, and I got the items above for $7.82!

Let's go Krogering!

There are so many reasons why Kroger is my favorite grocery store! I love the fact that Kroger gives .5 per reusable bag, double coupons up to .50 and you save .10/gallon on gas per $100 you spend each month. Each month I receive coupons in the mail from Kroger which may include a few free ones for items. Kroger also participates in coupons loaded to your card from http://www.shortcut.com/ and http://www.cellfire.com/.

Each time I go to Kroger I take 4-5 reusable bags/trip. This equates to .20- .25/trip off my bill and I usually make 4-5 trips a month which gives me a savings close to $52/year just for taking my bags!

You earn fuel points before coupons are deducted from your total. For example, my total today was $62 (with Kroger savings) which went toward my fuel points, but I only paid $43 OP after coupons.

Swiffer Deal just got Sweeter!

Yesterday I posted about the great Swiffer deal at Target this week. If you buy 2 qualifying products, you receive an instant $5 Target gift card. Well to make this an even better deal, if you spend $10 in Swiffer refills, you receive a $5 debit card and for $20 in swiffer refill products you receive a $10 debit card. All purchases have to be made by May 15, 2009 and postmarked by May 30, 2009.

Today, I went back to Target to get the rest of my refills to qualify for the $10 debit card and I found .75 Target Swiffer refill coupons hanging near the Tide laundry detergent.
