Kellogg's Fuel for School Money Maker

In Sunday's (8/2) coupon inserts, Kellogg's featured many coupons for products that paired well for the Fuel for School Rebate that was included. By buying 10 Kellogg's or Keebler items featured on the rebate form (all in one transaction) you're able to earn a $10 rebate check and a $70 coupon code toward a DELL computer (rebate expires 9/30).

This week Walgreens has many of these items on sale plus the opportunity to earn Register Rewards for buying them. Here's how I turned this into a moneymaker by using a previous RR. (But, if you don't have RR's to use, you can easily break even by just using mfc's.)

(2) Kellogg cereals @ $2.50 ea

(used $1/2 mfc)

(4) Kellogg Rice Krispie bars 8ct @ $2 ea

(used 2 $1/2 mfc)

(2) Nutri-Grain cereal bars @ $2.50 ea

(used $1/2 mfc)

(2) Keebler cookies @ $2 ea

(used 2 55 cent printables)

(1) pocket folder @ 9 cents

(I had to purchase this to make sure I had an item for each coupon/RR I used)

Total: $22.09

Used $4 RR from previous transaction

Final Total after coupons: $12.99 (.55 tax) = $13.54

Received $2RR (cereal) & $5RR (cookies, krispies & cereal bars)

Moneymaker math: $13.54 - $7 RR - $10 Kellogg's rebate = $3.47 credit
