Paid to Shop!

CVS paid me to shop at their store today! Next week's sale at CVS started today and I wanted to get the Bayer monitors (earn $5 ECB each ...limit 2) before they sold out. I purchased the above items for $1.79 which was my Walgreen's purchase. I didn't have any out-of-pocket costs for CVS plus I didn't used ECB to pay for my purchase, but I earned $12ECB!

Listerine mouth wash is $3 off the original price at CVS . (Many are priced at $4.49 or $5.29 which makes them $1.49 or $2.29. ) I had a $2 mc for the Listerine Total Care, however my local CVS didn't have any more in stock, so the SM said that I could use my $2 coupon on another same size Listerine.

CVS Transaction:

(2) Bayer Contour Monitors $14.99 (used 2 $30 mc..each one adjusted to $14.99) FREE

(1) Children's Benadryl $3.99 ( used $1 CVS coupon & $1.50 mc) = $1.49

(1) Bayer Crystals 4ct. $2 (used $2 CVS coupon & $1 mc) = FREE + $1 overage

(1) Listerine Fresh Burst 1ltr $1.49 (used $2 mc..adjust to $1.98) = FREE + .49 overage

Total Before coupons: $37.46

Total After coupons: .00 (no tax applied....all FREE!)

I received $10ECB (Monitors) and $2ECB (Bayer Crystals)

Walgreen's Transaction:

(1) VanCamp Beans .50 (had a 2/$1 coupon, but my store only had 1 can left, so the SM adjusted the coupon to .50) = FREE

(3) Butterball chicken stock .50 ea

(4) Hunt's tomato sauce .50 ea (used 4/$1 mc from Walgreen's RR machine) = $1 for 4

(1) Essence Magazine $3.99 (part of my auntie's Mother's Day gift ;) )

Total: $7.99

Used $5 in RR

Total after coupons: $1.49 (.30 tax) $1.79
Plus I received a .75/2 mc for Vancamp & .75/2 mc for Hunt's sauce

Going Green @ CVS

I have reusable bags from every store that I usually shop at except CVS! So today when I scanned my card and got a $4 off $20 purchase, I decided that I wanted to do my part in "going green" so I purchased a green bag for 99cents to help me get to my $20 total. On the bags are .50 coupons for a CVS essential product. I found an CVS essential bath toilet roll for .89cents... good enough!

Also, Adidas deodorant is on sale this week for $3.99 and you receive $3 in ECB (limit 3) for buying one. Well, my local CVS had Adidas Intensive (orange label) on clearance for $1.25. So this is a $1.75 money maker!

My total for the items above was $20.48.
I paid .94 (.37 tax) $1.31 OP (after coupons) for all of the things above!
I received $8ECB ($6ECB-Adidas & $2ECB Cogate) and only spent out $3ECB, so I made $5 in ECB on this trip.
Go Green!!!

TARGET: FREE Glade Soy Candles

These are great smelling candles! You can get them free plus overage. When you buy 2 Glade Soy products you get a $5 Target gift card. My local Taget didn't have signs posted for this deal, so I'm unsure how long this will last.

Here's how:
Buy 2 candles @ 5.79 ea = $11.58
Use 2 $4 mc from this past Sunday's insert
Total: $3.58
Receive $5 Target gift card for next purchase!

Sunday Morning!

Well, I'm a little tired today, but nothings gonna stop me from going to get my extra coupon inserts! Its a great week to organize coupons because the deals look a little light this week at CVS & Walgreen's. My only stop this morning was to Walgreen's to pick up my papers and take advantage of the ConAgra Foods RR deal (you receive $3RR when you purchase $10).
Here's my transaction:
(1) Bayer Quick Release 2.49 (used $1 mc)
(2) Hunt's tomato sauce 8oz. 2/$1 (couldn't find my coupons for these!)
(2) Poppycock snacks $2 (used 2 .50 mc's)
(2) Healthy Choice entrees 2/$5 (used $1/2 mc)
(2) newspapers $2 ea
Total: $16.49
Used $10RR, $3 in mc's
Final OP total: $3.49 (.45 tax) $3.94
Received $5.50 in RR --- $2.50RR (Bayer) and $3RR (ConAgra)
Also, when my RR printed, I receive a .75 mc when you buy 3 Hunt's products.
I'll be making another trip back this week for more sauce & Healthy Choice!
