Free School Supplies @ CVS

Its hard to believe, but sales on back-to-school items have already started. This week, 7/5-7/11, CVS has pencils & sharpeners for 99 cents and you receive 99 cents in ECB for each one (limited 3 per CVS card). I didn't need sharpeners, so I purchased 3 packs of pencils. Also, CVS pantyliners are free, plus a 10 cent moneymaker (limit 1 per CVS card). I made my purchases on Saturday (my store has next week's sales ready Sat. afternoon) and paid 38 cents out of pocket for the items above!

(1) CVS pantyliner: 89 cents ea (FREE plus 10 cents after .99 ECB)

(1) Kid's Alavert: $3 ( used $2 mc on the package)

Total: $8.86

Used $2 mc & $6.50 in ECB's

Final Total: .36 (.02 tax) = .38 cents

Received $2.97 ECB (pencils) & .99 ECB (pantyliner)

Rolling ECB & Register Rewards

This week looks very slow at CVS & Walgreens. But its a holiday weekend, and things may change by Thursday or Friday. I had $6 in register rewards from Walgreens that expire today, so I tried to put them to good use. Plus I needed to get my 2 newspapers and we were in need of paper towels, so I went to CVS to pick up those.

I spent $6.73 out of pocket total, and received $5 RR from Walgreens and $2 ECB from CVS.

Walgreens:

(1) Roots of Nature Moisturizing Lotion: $6.99 (used $1 mc from Soft Sheen Carson website )

(2) Orajel toddler toothpaste: $3.79 BOGO free (no coupons, but a great price!)

Total: $10.78

Total after $1 mc & $6 RR: $3.78 (.35 tax) = $4.13

Received: $5 RR (Roots of Nature)

CVS:

(1) Brawny 6 Big Roll: $6.99 (used .50 mc)

(2) CVS brand chicken bullion cubes: .99 and BOGO 50% on the 2nd
