What a way to end the month!

I've only been blogging for 2 months now and I can truly say that blogging has become a new found passion of mine and I absolutely love sharing all of my great deals.

Trips to CVS & Walgreens

I really wasn't prepared for CVS & Walgreens today because of the holiday and spending time with family & friends for the past few days. But, after looking at the ads last night, I got my coupons together this morning to try and take advantage of some the great deals. I'm so glad I did, because I only paid $2.79 OP for all of the items above!

CVS:

For the past few weeks CVS has been a little light when it comes to earning ECB's, well this week makes up for the "little slump"! There are many great deals this week where items come out to be free, plus money makers!

This week, if you buy 2 Neutrogena sun care products, you earn $10 in ECB. The 1.0 fl. oz. size of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 ($1.99) actually works for this deals! The UPC code is 070502487921. I had a $2 CVS coupon off any Neutrogena product, which made this deal even sweeter!

Here's the scenario:
Buy (2) Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55: $1.99 ea
Total: $3.98, plus tax
Earn: $10 ECB
$6.02 MM!

I searched my store for a while and finally found these at the checkout counter in a round tube.

My CVS transaction:
(2) Neutrogena Ultra Sheer tubes: $1.99 ea (used $2 CVS Neutrogena cp)
(1) Tums 72 ct: $2.99 (used $1.25mc & $2 CVS Tums cp)
(1) Band-aids: $2.29 (used .50mc)
(4) SOBE Life Water: 1.59 ea. BOGO Free (used 2 BOGO Free printables)
(2) Life Fitness Energy gum: .62 ea ($1.50 CVS Life Fitness cp)
(1)Speed Stick Pro: $3.99

Total Before Coupons: $17.67
After coupons & $7 ECB used: .24 (.11 tax) = .35 OP
Earned $15.99 ECB's ($10 Neutrogena, $2 Band-aids, & $3.99 Speed Stick)

WALGREENS:

I earned many RR's last week, so I purchased a few grocery items from Walgreens. Plus I was happy to take advantage of the BOGO free Dixie plates & napkins too.

Walgreens transaction:
(2) Dixie plates: $3.79 BOGO free ( used 2 .50 mc's)
(2) Dixie napkins: $3.39 BOGO free (used FREE napkin coupon when you buy 2 Dixie plates from All You magazine)
(2) Reach toothbrushes: $2.50 ea. (used BOGO free mc)
(1) Colgate toothpaste: $2.49 (used $1 mc)
(3) Trident gum: .66 ea after in-store coupon (used 3 .75 mc's)
(2) Bush's baked beans: 1.79 ea.
(1) Milk: $1.79
(1) Eggs: $1.59

Total before coupons: $24.03
Total after coupons & $12 RR used: 1.49 (.95 tax) = 2.44 OP
Earned: $4.50RR ($3RR Reach & $1.50RR Colgate)
