Rite Aid: Gift of Savings Program


The Rite Aid Gift of Savings program is back for the holiday season! Like before, when you spend $25-$50 you get $5, spend $51-$100, get $10 and when you spend over $100, you receive $20 back in a Rite Aid gift certificate. With all of the great deals and coupons, its easy to hit the $100 mark. So far I've gotten a $82.35 start with the 3 transactions I did today to receive the $20 gift certificate. I spent $4.97 out of pocket for my items, earned an additional $4 in +Up Rewards, and will receive a $25 gift certificate to nfl.com for buying participating P&G items!


Here are the details:


Transaction #1:

(1) Gillette gift set @ $12.79 (after 20% wellness discount)

minus $4 mfc from 11/28 P&G insert

(2) Gillette razors @ $8.79 (after 20% wellness discount)

minus 2 $4 mfc

Total: $30.37

Minus $5 off $25 Rite Aid purchase

Minus $13 in +UP Rewards

FT: .37 ($1.27 tax) = $1.64

Received $15 in +Up rewards: $5 +Up (Gillette gift set) & $10 +Up (Gillette razors)

(6) Gillette deodorants @ $3.50 ea

minus 3 $2 mfc & 2 Buy 2 Gillette deo receive 1 FREE all from 11/28 insert

(2) Crest toothpaste @ $2.50 ea

minus 2 .75 mfc from 11/28 insert & 2 $1 Rite Aid coupons from yellow pharmacy booklet

(2) Dial Hand Soap @ .99 ea

minus 2 $1 Rite Aid coupons from yellow pharmacy booklet

Total: $27.98

Minus $5 off $25 Rite Aid purchase

Minus $4 in +Up rewards

FT: .48 ($1.15 tax) = $1.63

Received $7 in +Up Rewards: $6 +Up (Gillette) & $1 +Up (Crest)

(4) Old Spice Deodorant @ $3.50 ea

minus 2 BOGO FREE mfc from P&G booklet & $1/2 mfc from 11/28 insert

(2) Crest toothpaste @ $2.50 ea

minus 2 .75 mfc from 11/28 insert

(2) Oral-B toothbrush @ $2.50 ea

minus .75 mfc from 10/31 insert (exp 11/30) & 2 $1 Rite Aid coupon from pharmacy booklet

Total: $24

Minus $5 off $25 Rite Aid purchase (I could use this because the tax took me over $25)

Minus $6 in +Up Rewards

FT: .75 (.95 tax) = $1.70

Received $5 in +Up Rewards: $4 (Old Spice) & $1 (Crest)

  1. I read on another blog where the gift of savings was the total after coupons. So I wasn't going to bother. Is this not the case? If not, I have probably already hit the mark. I save all my receipts in an envelope.

  2. Hi Infohound! In the past the gift of savings has been totaled coupons have been deducted. I'm hoping that's the case this time too.
