Getting ready for the holidays @ Walgreens!


Can you believe Christmas is only 40 days away? Are you ready? I'm getting there! The stores are starting their holidays sales and I'm trying my best to take full advantage! If you look at the sales ads from this mornings paper you'd think we were only a couple of days away from Christmas! I headed to Walgreen's this morning to grab a few deals that I can put away for the holidays.


Here's today's transaction:

(2) Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice @ $2.50 with in-store coupon

used 2 $2 printable coupons

FP: 50 cent ea

(2) Ziplock Freezer bags @ $1.99 ea

used $1.25/2 mfc

FP: $1.24 ea

(3) 3m Scotch transparent tape @ 39 cents with in-store coupon

FP: 39 cents ea

(1) Ricola mixed berry cough drops @ $1 ea

used 50 cent Walgreen's coupon from Healthy Savings booklet (found near pharmacy)

FP: 50 cent...FREE after $1 RR

(1) Gillette shave gel @ $1.99

used 55 cent mfc

FP: $1.49...also received a FREE coupon at checkout for next shave gel purchase

(1) Men's Speedstick PRO @ $2.19 (clearance price)

used $1.50 mfc coupon printed from a previous Walgreen's purchase

FP: 69 cents

(2) newspapers for coupons @ $2 ea

Total: $19.33

used $10 RR from last week

used $7.80 in mfc & Walgreen's coupons

Final Total: $1.53 (.80 tax) = $2.33
